Surgical Hands-On Implant Mentoring
There are several variations to this service, depending on if the mentee sources their own patient and if they wish to carry out the surgery at our practice or theirs:
Mentoring at Phillips & Co Cosmetic Dentistry, Darlington
Delegate-provided patients:
• £1,500 – first implant of the day
• £400 – each additional implant (up to a full day of clinic time; may involve multiple patients)
The delegate provides the patient and covers all treatment costs excluding surgical consumables.
Delayed restorative phases are completed at the mentee’s own practice.
No additional charges apply for advice or mentorship on the same case.
Patient sourced by Phillips & Co Cosmetic Dentistry or Magpie Implantology:
• £950 delegate fee
This fee covers multiple visits if required for the same case.
All treatment costs are covered by Phillips & Co Cosmetic Dentistry or Magpie Implantology.
Mentoring at the Mentee’s Own Practice (UK and Ireland only)
• £1,950 – first implant of the day
• £400 – each additional implant
(up to a full day of clinic time; may involve multiple patients)
The delegate must provide the patient and cover all treatment costs.
Ongoing remote advice on the same case is included.
Any additional on-site visits, if required, will be charged separately on a case-by-case basis.
Payment Terms
• A 10% deposit of the expected mentoring fee is required to secure dates
• The remaining balance is payable within 10 working days following the mentoring day
Optional Additional Service
IV Conscious Sedation
Available in conjunction with on-site mentoring.
Fees are confirmed on a case-by-case basis and are typically in the region of £300.
Professional Responsibilities
Delegates are responsible for ensuring they hold:
• Appropriate Level 1 / Level 2 CBCT radiography training
• Suitable professional indemnity and insurance for themselves, their practice, and their clinical team
Evidence of training and indemnity may be requested prior to mentoring.

• Mentorship is advisory and educational in nature and does not replace the delegate’s professional judgement or responsibility for patient care.
• All hands-on mentoring sessions are subject to separate fees and availability.
